Install & trust the CA

Reqonn generates a root certificate authority (CA) on first launch. To decrypt HTTPS traffic, your system must trust that CA. This is the same step every HTTPS proxy requires.

macOS

  1. Open Reqonn → Settings → Certificates.
  2. Click "Export Root CA" and save the `.pem` file.
  3. Open Keychain Access and drag the certificate into "System" or "Login".
  4. Double-click the certificate → Trust → "Always Trust" for SSL.

Android

  1. Open Reqonn → Certificate → Install CA.
  2. Enter device PIN/biometric when prompted.
  3. Android installs the certificate to Settings → Security → Encryption & credentials → Trusted credentials → User.

Tip: If a site still shows certificate warnings, restart the app you are capturing after installing the CA.
